Hi

Welcome session 2016/17.  It is great to see everyone back and looking so healthy after the two days of sun we had over the summer break.

It is a busy and exciting service and the best way for you to keep up with our developments and successes and any news items is through our Facebook page which is updated most days.

if you have any suggestions for our website, Facebook page or Twitter account please contact us via the Facebook page.

This session we are adopting a more rigorous approach to growth mindset and have titled this the #YETcampaign.  Look out for more information through our social media sites.

Looking forward to working with you all again this session.

HT’s Welcome

IMG_5301Dear Parent/Carers

I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome all our pupils back to school. We’ve had a very successful start to the new term.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to inform you that we are planning an Xtraordinary Xmas Sale on Friday 4th December. We will have stalls selling the following clothes, books, toys, bric-a-brac, home baking and raffle tickets will be on sale with a chance to win a hamper or something from the bottle stall. We have set up a collection point in the school and any donations will be gratefully received.

Welcome to our new website

Okay, here goes my first blog post…

First of all I would like to welcome everyone to our new website. I am immensely proud of the work of our ‘Digital Ninjas’ pupil team and the work they have carried out to make this website happen.

Working with the guys from Tablet Academy Scotland, our Digital Ninja’s have planned the website from start to finish: gathering images and creating the staff avatars, as well as creating written content. They are even going to be training our staff (including me!) and other pupils in how to update the site.

I am sure you will agree that they have done a smashing job. I am certainly delighted with our new look and very pleased with the fact that this new, modern site will be easy for us all to contribute to going forward.
